Our dam is stocked with over 600 silver perch of varying sizes. Why not throw in a line and try your luck? We provide lines and bait at no extra charge. Game fishing it is not, but it is a lot of fun even for the inexperienced! Daily feed time is quite spectacular!

Take an easy stroll through shady mango orchards during the season and handpick yourself some tree-ripened Bowen mangoes. Take a peek at our Photo Gallery and you will see pics of some of the bird and wildlife that you may encounter as you wander.

Picnic at Amamoor Creek State Forest Park, the rainforest area of Cedar Grove or Amama Park, where you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the platypus at play. Stroll along bushwalking tracks with sub-tropical vegetation and waterfalls. Take a leisurely drive along the Mary Valley Scenic Way and notice the diverse grazing and agricultural activities that abound, including pineapples, macadamias, mangoes, citrus, avocados and small crops.

Visit the local Dingo Creek Winery at Traveston, www.dingocreek.com.au or Blindman’s Bluff winery, www.blindmansbluff.com.au at Kenilworth and visit the cheese factory there as well to sample some of the wonderful cheeses produced on site.

Play golf at the Gympie Golf Club or the par 3 course at Gunabul.
